X-FI Problem

Ive just installed my xfi onto a fresh win xp installation and the audio on both dvds and music is strange. I cant hear the music really loud but the voices are very faint.

voices normaly come thorugh your centre speaker.
make sure you have your SPEAKER settings ( creative audio console, speakers, set to correct ones) set correct to your environment !
what are you listening to them with ?

2.1
headphones ?

you havnt got anykind of karioke ( spelling ? ) effect on by the way ?
