When running some games(Thief3, FEAR, etc...) I am unable to select hardware mixing, EAX HD....I'm running in game mode but the only curious thing is that it you go into the sound config and look at the hardware acceleration tap its halfway down...don't ask me why as I certainly didn't set it that way, I put it up to full and try the games again to no avail...funny thing is that I can go back to this tab again and it will be down halfway again for no reason. I am running the latest drivers(Aug '06) on the Creative Site but this was even showing its head with the previous ones. Wondering if there is a quick fix before I end up formatting and reloading the system from scratch.
