I came back to my PC today, oops left morrowind running 
, and it seems that all my audio from my X-fi sounds like its out of tune with itself, the harmonics sound off pitch as if all the samples were being played at the wrong frequency, I tried restoring defaults, but everything still sounds aweful.
So Far, Ive tried.
Changing mode, they all sound terrible.
System restore,
restore all settings to default within audio console.
Unticked all eax features and CMSS and other audio altering options within the creative consoles.
This one is driving me mad.
I might have to put my Delta card in to confirm, this sudden loss or glitch in the way my X-fi is decoding audio.
