As the subject says, just installed Vista 64bit on my machine... and I have no idea which drivers I should try and use to get my X-Fi Music to work.

Creative needs a bomb up their backside!

Beta drivers from Creative are the best you'll get at the moment. They're listed for the XtremeGamer but are also for XtemeMusic & Fatal1ty cards.

Well they have anounced on the creative forum that the offficial Creative driver for Vista will be release in...... MARCH!!!

Shocking!

dont think il buy any more creative products any more now.

I have XFI but still had the poping and wizeing noise.plus my friend got one them Auzentech X-Meridian 7.1 Soundcard

Says just as good if not better and has full vista support

But makes the creative cards bit useless now the games have to write the openal driver to work with it pluss all the fancy gizmos almost gone like the 3dsound and the crislizer

They had better be working on something amazing if it's going to take them that long to sort out some drivers!

In the meantime I've disabled it in the device manager, sticking with the onboard audio for now.

I'm having to make use of the beta drivers myself on x64 Business. I must say I'm a little narked at the fact I can't use the remote or Live bay anymore but at lest I've got audio, even if it is missing all the bells and whistles at the moment.
