X-Fi Xtreme and nforce4 problems still?

Are there still problems with x-fi xtream cards and nforce 4 chipsets?

I sold my fatal1ty the other week but im missing it

So im thinking of getting the basic version but dont want to have to send it back if it dosent work properly.

also, what are the headphones like that are offered with it as a bundle?

Its a well known problem, theres a 74 page thread about it on creatives forums.

Well ikm getting one today so lets see what happens.

Well i got one today, i ended upo getting the bundle with the headphones, its installed ok. Will try a few games out tonight

Well ive had a quick blast of quake 4 and doom 3 and so far it seems great.
