I got my new card and install but when I set in ingame to EAX3 it sounds worse than my onboard realtek did??

Has anyone else got this card and game and had issues? Everything is set for 7.1 surroundsound etc to get the most from the card?

Have you reinatalled the game, i had same issue with quake 4
