hey
i have the Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro sound card in my computer at the moment, i've had it a while but i've always had problems with it crackling or the sounds only coming through one speaker, or getting random static noises while surfing the web which are quite painful to the ears!
This seems to happen mostly when i have my wireless card turned on, i have the belkin pre-n PCMCIA to PCI card, a PCI slot away from the sound card.
When the wireless is off i don't seem to get these problems.
Is there a way to fix this?

If not, i might sell this sound card on ebay and get a new one.
Which sound card would you guys recommend?
Has to be decent, up to £100, for gaming etc =)
Cheers

Look like you have a NF4 Mobo and a weird one at that by model name.

There was a well known issue and a new bio for the NF4 was supposed to have fixed it, also look at PCI Latency, I think 32 comes to mind.
