Hi Guys

Just built my rig at the weekend (spec as sig) and everything was fine until just now.

I installed the X-Fi Music Vista 64 bit drivers from the net and it was fine.

But now when I boot up I get a continuous crackling sound from the speakers and also windows doesn't shutdown properly (seem to happen after I installed all the updates).

Anyone have a similar problem? Any advise would be appreciated.

I recently replaced my Motherboard and RAM so I've recently gone through the same process of installing the Vista drivers plus updates and everythings been fine for me, although i dont use speakers.

Vista64 and 4GB of RAM is a no go with the latest drivers, you need to get hold of a early set.

I've been using:-
SBXF_PCDVT_LB_2_13_0012
without any issues.

I've got exactly the same problem with my X-Fi Xtreme Music. Any chance of a link to the drivers if they work?

I was going to post last night about new Unified Beta drivers for Audigy/X-FI for all Windows, they are now out, but first 2 peeps to comment got issues with them.

Im sure if you want to risk you can Google for them.

Same problem here. XFi Xtreme Music Vista Ultimate 64bit.(all works fine on my previous rig with 32bit Vista Ultimate) While playing BF2142 after few mins blue screen with this - HA20X2K.SYS i did try numerous fixes but nothing works. Im out of patience now and thinking to get Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Soundcard when in stock. Or... i dont know, im really ***** off now

Ibit-Pro
4Gb Ram

Kind of sucks, and creative don't give a toss!

has to be the older (march?) drivers. or you can disable and re-enable your card in Device Manager each time you boot.
