Hi,

Just wondering if anyone with this card knows if you can use Mic & line-in at the same time by using another socket? Or will i have to use the onboard as well

You can oly use one or the other on the x-fi as i think its a single multi function socket

I think there is a creative adapter you can buy which should do what you want. Take a look on there website as i'm not certain.

Sorry I'm wrong just had a look the adapter is for digital inputs and outputs only

Is this not covered by installing the ASIO driver? I thought this enabled supporting cards (which considering the old audigy supports these should too) and you can record from both. I wouldnt mind being able to do this too, never found a card yet where I could record from both line-in and mic at the same time.
