As the title really, is an X-Fi Extreme Music going to sound better than my PC does through my Aiwa Midi system?

how does your PC normally go through your Aiwa Midi System?

I have a 3.5 jack connected to the m/board that splits into 2 (red and white) jacks into the back of the Aiwa midi system and then use aux on it with the 2 speakers either side of my monitor.

you mean will an x-fi sound card sound better than your on-board sound card your using atm going though your Aiwa system right ?, no doubt the x-fi is a better card but without trying to put your system down I would be a little unsure how much difference you will hear with your audio going through your current system, if your looking for better audio quality then get a cheap stereo rotal/nad/arcam amp and book shelf speakers off the bay, and then depending on if you want eax etc then get an x-fi, emu 0404 or m-audio sound card.
