X-FI xtreme music

Hey all,

Just installed my Xtreme Music card and intalled the latest drivers from the net.

After loading the audio console, I have hunted around, but cant see any way in which to control the fader (i.e. front to back) or change individual speaker settings.

Do I need to install the Creative MediaSource software? (I hope not)

think u need to install original cd for that stuff, then update drivers from the net

For individual speaker settings, install the THX Console from the driver CD.

As far as I can see, its not possible to install seperate applications from the CD. Looks like I have to install all the crap (i.e. all the mediasource apps) in one foul swoop. Sigh.

I tried to install just the thxcon by running the setup file in that folder, and I get a 6003 error code.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Or do I just have to bite the bullet and install everything?

Rubbish. Run custom install.

Meh, I just tried a custom install after selecting the Mediasource option, instead of the Audio console option
