x-fi XtremeGamer and x-fi extreamMusic

hi guys does anyone know what the differnce is between x-fi XtremeGamer sound card and x-fi extreamMusic sound card please, is there still a music part to the gamer card ect.

Ive had both and id say the only difference is the Xtreme Gamer is a low profile card but bioth cards havce identical software

ah thank you i was told there was a differnce, there is also a price diffence, i was also told the audio playback was differnt, ie the gamer doesnt have the same audio playback featers.

It does, music playback is the same. I only went for the Gamer as it was a retail box product with a higher potential resale value

At £51 an extreme music is perfect. Just avoid the Extreme Audio as its pants

Thanks whats the diff then from the extreme audio then
i wish they woudnt do so many cards makes it hard to track down descent ones.

The Extreme Audio is a very cut down Extreme music and is no good for gaming as it lacks hardware EAX accelleration
