Hmm, thread revive. Hopefully it's ok. If I was to go and start buying these, where do "The Movie" and "The Truth" fit into the series. Please avoid spoilers, I'm just interested in the recommended watching order. If one was say a prequel but ruined the rest of the seasons then I'd wait to watch it.

The X-Files Movie is set between Season 5 and Season 6. Season 5 leads up to it, and Season 6 makes references to it. So you need to watch it after Season 5.

The Truth is basically the finale episode. Very last episode of Season 9 and so is included in the DVD Boxset.
