X-Fire "High Quality Voice Chat (free)"

Yeah xfire's voice chat quality is far far far superior compared to the crap of ventrillo and teamspeak. They are truly absymal even compared to ''xfire medium quality'' voice chat, can't make heads or tails out of what people are saying on TS and Vent even with good codecs. Don't know why people still use Vent and TS tbh.


I already like xfire for chatting in game and for the recording of game hours so I'm using it for that mainly.

its rare anyone will use the good codecs.

i remember we had a swedish guy in a guild who hosted a TS server on his uber connection some years ago and his codec maxed for some reason sounded much better than the rented servers codecs.....
