Ever since I have been playing this game on my pc, I am getting either screen tearing or lagging. I shouldnt be experiencing this, as my PC is a total top of the range, and dont get any problems playing all of my other games. I am on Vista 64 bit if that helps anyone to try and sort out this problem, as all other aspects of the game are absolutly perfect

Thats what I was wondering, but I have tried quite a few other games with this card and no problems arise, just this game. Are there any patch fixes available for this?

I guess you have to be patient until the next nvidia driver update or game patch. There aren't any solution yet :( . Try to change some of the graphic options on the nvidia panel- it works sometimes.

What graphic options are there to change on the Nvidia panel? I was having a look at the panel and couldnt really see anything there to change to help the game out

Not sure if it is the case but Wolverine runs the UT3 engine. There was a big thing about Nvidia drivers and UT3 around the time the 2.0patch came out. Might be related.

I use a 4870 X2 and not once had an issue when playing this game...which by the way I have to admit is awesome :D

it can be caused by any driver/program, etc.

I have still same issue with some games such as nfs: undercover, Wheelman, etc. but some hungry games such as crysis, cod4, etc. etc. run perfectly!

so, as I said it might be drivers/windows/programs/oc setting etc.

I will be trying the game later tonight. I have upgraded my drivers from 182.50 to the latest 185.85 drivers, and also gone into the Wolverine ini file and changed the vsync from false to true, so that might all help a little bit. If it still has the same issues then I am lost for what to try next

i'd also turn on triple buffering in the nv control panel if you're going to use V-sync, normally helps sort out smothness issues when using V-Sync

I tend to force it on in the NV control panel with any game that i am using V-Sync with. there's no point forcing it on for everything as if there are games that you don't use V-Sync with it will just eat up you video memory.

As for being application controlled, i think it may depend on the game, but best to force it on if you use V-Sync in a game.

I will force both the triple buffering & V-Sync and see if this resolves my issues with this game. Thinking it might be because they ported this game over that the PC is too powerful for it, although I might be wrong. Other than this issue im having, its still a brilliant game, its the perfect game for me, where its you against loads of others, kind of like Streets Of Rage style :D
