Hey-hey, listen up, just found out about this today

Due for release shortly afaik, lets you stream videos, music & photos from your PC to the wii. Haven't seen this mentioned on the forum anywhere so I thought I'd post about it.
Probably won't ever be as good as XBMC but at least it's legal

I think Winamp and The Orb do something similar with the Wii already, although this streams through the Wii browser (and so has some quality issues). If this gets around it by being a 'game' rather than using the browser, to let you navigate your PC, it sounds good. I've been thinking of ways to play my music from my PC - wireless boxes, DVD player + big ext. HDD etc. This would be better really.

What's the quality like? I can't test it at the mo (Holby City is on while the better half is ironing

).

It looks to be quite decent.

It's OK but nothing special. I found the interface to be quite fiddly to use, compared to the Winamp/Orb thing. Playing music over the LAN is much more responsive, as you'd imagine, though so hopefully any future versions will have a better GUI.

I just watched a family guy episode and it worked great.
Says my Wii has run out of memory when I try to play songs now though

Didn't load my files, took 5 mins and found nothing (80GB). Suggestions (Wiisic)?
