X plane 8.21!Need answers!!!!

Hey guys,
my b-day is coming up and I want some new stuff

I found X-plane 8 and thoguht it looked alright, then I found 8.21! It adds global scenery accrooss the whole world, and the file is over 60gb! It comes on 7 dual layer dvds and is $60(cant find UK pricing) . I have a few questions, how Do I know if my drive is dual layer or not :confused:

Also. has anyone got this and what do you guys think about nit, or should I just get FS2004?

I've heard its very good. And realistic. But i'm not sure about the Dual layer in drives. I know my LG drive can write dvd's dual layer. So im pretty sure it can read them, i think you'll need a dvd drive compatible with dual layer.

Any DVD drive should be able to read a dual layer disc as it's the type that DVD movies generally come on.
