Hey im just wondering what the word is on these? are they decent or just like Q-Tec? It will be used to power :

Pentium D 930 ( will be overclocking )
Asrock HDTV mobo
2GB DDR2
250GB WD Sata
Dvd-Rw
X850 XT

Cheers

its best not to cheap out on the power supply as if it fails it may well take other components with it, if you are overclocking that pentium 930 i suspect its going to draw a fair amount of power as already meantioed Tagan, seasonic and enermax make good reliable power supplys but if you want a cheapish one i would highly reccomend the akasa ultra quite 460W

I don't see Antec getting too many recommendations these days. I've always held them in high regard. Been running a 480W TrueBlue II for several months now and it's been fine.

Id avoid the X-power if possible. I baught it as a cheap psu for my old AXP system as I moved the Tagan over to my current machine. Biggest issue I have withthe X-power is somekind of grounding issue as it causes a largish hum thats picked up on my speakers. Even louder when i take out the ethernet lead as I assume the etherned grounding is helping to at least send some of the hum away. Not many connectors on them either.

Just remember the old saying:

"Buy cheap, buy twice, buy good, buy once"

Or something along those lines...
