This is the problem with giveaways on this site. And I know from personal experience having ran two myself.

People entering the competition for the sake of it. For the freebie rather than wanting to play it. Why enter a competition for a game you haven't even heard off? Would it not be better going to someone who, you know, would like it and play it?

It also amazes me to see "members" who never actually engage in the community discussions appear like magic and post in these giveaway threads. It is sad to say but I had three more gifts to giveaway recently, and I decided not to do so here. Instead I donated them to the GAF annual steamgift thread.
