What are peoples opinion of the X100T, and what's it like to shoot with?
Any other alternatives to consider?

Not looking to replace DSLR yet, but looking for a camera I can take anywhere and not look intimidating or a dork.
Mainly considering Fuji at the moment because it looks so damn sexy.

Also not looking for a full mirrorless system yet, I'll probably get a sony when the time comes so just looking for a camera that already comes with a lens, or a body + lens combo that is roughly the same size..

Had a quick play with a RAF file in LR6. Seems good enough to me.

Tbh I just plan to use the camera for everyday things.. It feels strange to say it, but when the pictures are just for me personally, I don't really care that much about image quality in terms of sharpness and things. I'm looking forward to the film emulation, and as long as the camera gives pictures a nice 'feel', then I'm a happy camper.

I'm sure if I'm impressed with it though, I'll use it for wedding work occasionally, especially if it's silent.

When the time is right, I'll sell off the D810's and get some A7R3 or 4 by then. Need fast focus selection before I can change.

X100T was delivered today, but just got back from a wedding, so haven't had time to test much. It is one sexy little camera though.. got the black version with a half leather case, and shutter button top...

Quick pic before bed while my cards are backing up. Batteries now on charge. So far I like it..

I think my charger is faulty. Put battery on charge last night, green light was still on this morning. Tried the battery and it was still empty. Researched the issue and it seems it's a common fault with Fuji chargers. Ordered a dual battery charger to replace oem. Have managed to get the charger to charge the battery tonight but have ran out of time to really test the camera.

So far I'm really really impressed with it which I'm finding a little unnerving. It takes a little bit of time to get used to it, and customise it how you like, but it is definitely an enjoyable camera to use. Focus is fast and accurate, EVF is great, it's nice to be able to see what the picture will actually look like.
Focus selection is fast, not too unlike my D810's. Really happy about this.
What I don't like is there doesn't seem to be a fast way to zoom in 100% when you playback an image to see if you nailed focus on your focus point. Right now I'm zooming with the wheel on the back and it's a much slower clunkier experience than the D810. I believe the older X100/s had this fast zoom feature but I'm guessing the X100T no longer has it as they changed the controls on the back?

Another test picture.
