X1300 Laptop Question

Does anyone know a comparable card to this on a desktop machine.
Its a 128MB Dedicated memory version found in an Acer Aspire 5622 laptop, and its a mobility 1300 afaik, Is it about the same speed as perhaps say a 9600Pro?

mobility 1300 would be slightly quicker than a 9600 pro.

there is a mobility 1400 also which is even faster.

Cheers, just what I wanted to know. On medium to low details a 9600Pro will still run pretty much everything at 12801024

Asking as its in a fairly cheap laptop £650 that otherwise has other good specs. For the price, the card seemed pretty good, and I dont want to pay an extra £400 to get a better card than a Intel GMA when I can get this one for 650

The laptops with the x1400 seem expensive (student on limited budget), if I can find a cheaper one, anyone happen to know how much of a performance improvement it is over the mobility 1300?

mmm...5 to 10%...that might render it a similar speed to a 9800Pro ish, and that was a good little card in its day. At low res laptop screens, that might be worth investment as 1280x900 would deffo run nicely with medium to low details on modern games with a 9800 Pro
