Hey,

Couldn't see any other posts asking this... looking to buy a pre-made system (I know I know...) unfortunatley only have the 2 options with the X1300Pro an extra £17.63 which given 256 dedicated (vs 128/128shared) looks worthy of the money... I'm already blowing aload on the system (for me), and didn't really want to buy another gfx for abit but if you guys recommend will consider... Will be using for media mainly and a bit of SW: Empire at War, Lotr: BfmE 2 and HL2.. will these cards handle this?

Kind Regards and thanks in advance,

-Dougie

First: any reason why you can't build your own?
Second: If you really must I would go for the X1300 pro...although thats not much cop at anything half decent. Cards will probably run those at low-med settings.

Could build my own, but when you take into account vista, and a 22" screen (promotion) you cant actually build it for cheaper (E520)!

I could upgrade it as soon as I get it, but cant afford to go straight to a 8800, was trying to work out if there was anything around the £50 mark that would be worth the extra money (i.e. get the 7300LE as standard) or whether I should just get the X1300Pro for the time being and wait about 6 months to upgrade?

Thanks,

Dougie

7600GT for £60~ would whip both their asses back to that stinkhole of budget cards where they belong.
