X1800 Issue with Lock On

Hey guys

Really annoying issue with Lock on with this card

i cant seem to get heat blur to work, on the really odd occasion it will work then just suddenly stop working

I havent got AA in the control panel on which i heard can cause problems, does anyone know if this is a known issue and is there a fix?

Have you got the heat blur enabled in the graphics options?

Yeah

its wierd cause sometimes it will be on for ages and it looks awesome, but then othertimes it just dissapears and doesnt come back for ages

perhaps its just a bug in the game

The heat blur is speed dependant and disappears gradually over 400mph. Also the A-10 and the Su-25, do not have heat blur at all (slight different types of engine)

cheers for that mate, that explains why it only seems to really be on more when im flying along slower
