X1800XL temps

Hello.

My HIS X1800XL seems to be running hot, well hot compared to the 6800GS I just had. Start up tempreture was like 54 degrees and after a quick blast of Toca 3 demo is went upto 64 degrees, no overclocking or anything. I had hoped to clock the card today, not sure i fancy it at those temps, or am I just being paranoid?

Anyone else with an X1800XL notice high temps?

my x1800xt idles at 60 hits 74c dont worry

My x1800xt pe idles at around 50c, and barely hits 85c sometimes during really heavy load

According to Rivatuner my X1800XT idles at around 34-35 (fan @ 100% with 84cfm 120mm fan blowing air directly onto it) and hasn't gone about 54 full load. (Playing farcry for about 3 hours)

You must be deaf with it on 100% owen

With the stock cooler my X1800XT idles at 53 (48C with zalman) but the zalman cant cope with the heat when it ramps up, so i had to put the stock cooler back on, hits about 84C when flashed to XT PE, the zalman was hitting over 90C before i would get corruption.

Thanks guys, I downloaded an overclocking tool and set the fan speed faster and it idles at 48 degrees and does not get much hotter. I Had a bit of a play with the overclocking function and ram has been successful at 700mhz up from 495 but the core don't seem too willing, I maybe able to get another 50 htz out of it, what is the MAX voltage on core/ram I could safely use. I have tried 2.75 on core and 2.0 on ram.
