Hey guys,

I've been playing some games on my newly built computer and everything has been fine apart from one thing. In dark areas of games such as GTA San Andreas and Fear it is almost impossible to see certain things and tell the difference between colours.

A good example is when inside a building in San Andreas, contrast seems to be dramatically reduced within the interior of buildings and if my character is wearing dark-ish clothes the detail on him and the clothes is hardly visible at all.
I tried to take a screenshot to show you the contrast issue but GTA doesn't seem to like screenshots...I took one, pasted it into paint and it gave me this.

Instead I used the in-game camera to take a picture of my character through a mirror inside a changing room in his house. Here is the picture.

Anyway, my real query is, I don't know exactly how to use the Catalyst Control Centre.

I've managed to increase the saturation which kind of acts similarly to the "digital vibrance" feature on Nvidia graphics cards but it hasn't seemed to effect the picture in games.

I was hoping somebody could tell me what I could do using the Catalyst Control Centre settings in order to increase the contrast and vibrance in games.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this should be in the PC Games forum but I thought it was more of a graphics card query.

I've played with several different settings but in the game my character's grey-clothes just look black with no detail.

Increase monitor brightness.

sorry forgot to mention this, my monitor brightness is already at 80% and turning it up more doesn't really seem to make the screen any brighter. I wonder if it's my monitor's contrast ratio or something.

ATI have nothing like DV.

I know...""I've managed to increase the saturation which kind of acts similarly to the "digital vibrance" feature on Nvidia graphics cards""

Nothing is making any difference in the game and if I turn the in-game brightness up anymore it begins to look white.
