X1800XT 512mb Vs 7800GTX 256mb - be honest!

Hi,

If you regard both of the cards at the same price....

Which is gonna perform better with a 3700 64?

I keep seeing loads of benchmarks, most of which say they are both even, with the XT doing much better on fear...

Please help me decide!


-the reason. I have just bought the GTX and feel i have made a huge mistake. If i have then i can return it i im quick and get the XT from ocuk....

Is the X1800 is both faster, has superior image quality and has AVIVO technology, hands down win to be honest, plus its cheaper too.

x1800xt since the 512mb ram will deffo come in handy these days.

Plus the XT overclocks to the same speed as the GTX 512MB pretty much (if not faster).

AVIVO isn't that great to be honest as the final image quality is pretty poor, it also works on NVIDIA cards either way.

yeah, but the GTX 512 would still own it the x1900 was bought out as the rival for it. so the x1800 has no chance.
