x1800xt blacking out at stock problems???

hi just a quick. one anyone heard of this problem before.

dual monitor or single crt connected identical monitors.
The damn card fades to a blue on the main monitor,after some surfing,even when dvi is swapped.it fades progressively to black and only gives it to 2nd display.
This has only happened twice today but seems weird.card is on stock.Intermitent fault,and havnt been gaming. temps fine on water.Any ideas?
