Just upgraded from a 6600 GT to the X1800XT.
Took several hours to get installed... had to update my mobo bios, then kept crashing, after I used driver cleaner and re-install drivers then it was sorted... except :
Although the drivers work fine & game performance is great (from the little testing i have done), catalyst control centre will not start. Trying it from any location (ie start bar, desktop shortcut etc) is the same. It doesn't crash or anything, just nothing happens.
The trouble is without it I can't get my second monitor set up & because the most important use of my PC is character animation in Cinema 4D, that's a big problem because I really need the screen real-estate for displaying my timeline, keyframnes, curves etc.
Does ATI Tray or any other tool let you configure the 2nd monitor ?
I've tried the old ATI control panel but it didn't. Tried the standalone CCP too but to no avail.
Any ideas ?

Love it to bits personally, having such a huge amount of functionality and tiny memory footprint makes it pretty much indispensible.
