Hey there,

Ive finally got my new X1800XT and set it up and everything, but on certain games when I load them up, the card starts to make a squeeling noise, even when I play it  I was wondering if anything knows the solution to this..

Is it definately coming from the card, and it isn't the fan picking up as they do underload, or it could be your PSU if you aint got a beefy enough one for the job, could be straining under the power the x1800 is pulling.

Well its an Thermaltake PurePower Blue LED 460W ATX2.0 Power Supply.

Also another thing that ive came across is that when looking the Control Center, it says my core speed is only 594and memory speed is 693(1386). I thought the core speed is supposed to be 625mhz and memory speed 1500mhz? Am I missing something..

Those are the 2d clock speeds, when you play a game or run a 3d app then it changes to the 3d speeds.

If you look in the overdrive part of the CCC then the requested speeds are your 3d speeds.
