what you all using to overclock the connect3d x1800xt 265

It wont let me use ati tray tools, or ati tool 0.24. In ati tray tools, if i change the frequency by +1 on the mem or core, the fan speeds up but then resets to its default clock which the fan then slows down.

in ati tool, the mem and core come up as 0.00 as default. its as if they cant find the gc  im using the latest ati drivers, but using att instead of ccc, ccc was never installed. thanx

You need ATI Tool 0.25 beta 14 (the latest beta) and the Omega 6.3 based drivers :)
Would the latest ati drivers not work? I tried a bit of overclocking before but it broke my PSU as my system requirements were too much lol, have a new PSU now might have another go, forgot what I did exactly last time.

Reading that guide only states the voltages for the x1900 cards. Can someone tell me what the stock and max safe voltages on air cooling are for the x1800's plz???

Overclock with rivatuner,
Voltages are available via ATI-Tool. That should tell you what you're currently running too.

Anything after and including the Catalyst 6.4 drivers have a bug where they crash when using ATI Tool and BF2, something about the voltage detection briefly returning to 2D setting having entered the game.

I know you can check and alter the voltages in ati tool but was just wondering what the stock 3d volts are and what people have been bumping them up to when clocking. The default volts in ati tool are the 2d ones.

Max vGPU: 1.575
Max MVDDC: 2.3v
Max MVDDQ: 2.2v

Shouldnt need to increase vDDQ to 2.2 though, keep it around stock as it tends not to do much for these cards.
Just make sure temps are decent too :)
