X1800XT or X1950pro, which is faster?

I know which one i would pick, the X1800xt , as its mine !! 
but on a more serious note, they are both reasonable cards, i would say in my opinion the X1800XT holds its own against the x1950pro, only cause i was dissapointed when i moved to a X1950XT-X, making my x1800xt redundant, I didnt see a huge difference
thought i had wasted money really
it was the leep from X1950XT-X to 8800GTs that i really noticed

About par with each other. In Benchmarks the X1950 Pro will be faster due to it's 36 Pixel shaders. However, The X1950 Pro has lower clock speeds and 12 Pixel Pipelines compared the X1800XT's 16.
If I were to take an educated guess, I'd say the X1800XT would be a touch quicker, but there wouldn't be much between them.

x1800 XT , i know its says the 512mb x1800 XT there, but the 256mb is the same performance, id just get the x1950pro though seen as its brand new, as the x1800 XT is only faster by 10-15fps.

Id say the x1800xt WILL be faster but 10-15fps i doubt that theres little in between them id say 10 fps at the most.

Typo should have said 10-12fps ahead, res dependant of course, as at lower resolutions like 1280x1024 the x1800 XT is about 18fps ahead.
