X1800XT running in X4?

Hey all

Would there be a performance dip when running an x1800xt in a X16 slot running at X4?

What sort of speeds are the new graphics cards currently running at?

Yes it'd be a definite peformance dip, go for pci-x 16

I was just going to upgrade to a socket 478 pci express motherboard but it only runs at X4 speeds

Time for a new cpu!
