I was looking for a way of routing my x1900 through my AV Receiver, to my projector, and was going to go either compnent or s-video to amp, then hdmi to projector, but then saw this:

Sapphire specification

Flexible display support

* Dual integrated dual-link DVI transmitters
o DVI 1.0 compliant / HDMI interoperable and HDCP ready*

Does this mean I can simply use a dvi-d to hdmi adapter, and link it straight to the hdmi in of the receiver...???

Anyone got any experience hooking this beast up to av equipment??

The amp has HDMI in? Then its just the an adapter or DVI-D to HDMI cable. It doesn't have HDCP, not that's its a problem yet. I have an Optoma H72i projector connected via HDMI to a PC.
