Are X1900 Master cards as loud as their normal X1900XT(X) cousins?

After buying an HIS IceQ X1900XT from OCUK recently (great deal!) I'm really keen to get another one that looks the same for XFire. HIS appear to do a X1900 Crossfire card with the IceQ cooler, but I haven't found anywhere in the UK that sells them......

So, it looks like my only option is a regular X1900.

(Don't really want to stick an Accelerato or whatever they're called on if its gonna exhaust the hot air back into my case)

Damn :(

I thought maybe it might run slower (therefore cooler & quieter) but that wouldn't really make a lot of sense would it :(

to make the crossfire card quieter you could modify the fan speed using ati tool, so when its running cool the cards quiet and when you hit the games it spins up to say 80% instead of 100%

Well, I wouldn't even mind paying for it as long as it was reasonable. I'm not keen on the Zalman or the Accelerato thing because it just vents the hot air into the case - bad design imo.
It's not that bad to be fair, as long as your case isn't air-tight then it will do fine. The Accellero X2 blows the air directly onto the motherboard chipset, but supposedly it's fine.

I chose the VF900 for that reason and it served me well, but I have an intake and two exhausts in my case so ambient temps didn't creep up one bit. :)
