My His X1900 XT information centre using Catalyst control says Core Clock 500MHz, Memory clock 594MHz.

When trying to using ATI overdrive I get the message "ATI Overdrive capabilities have not been properley initialised yet. Please tryb again later"

I can see no options to unlock or overide this? reboot does nothing?

help?

Am

oks fixed it, needed to install microsfot NET 2.0 or something.

Using the overdrive automated clock configuation facility, after a few minutes it suggested 655 VPU (from 500??) and 729 memory clock (from 594?)

temps were 61 degrees doing the test and now settled to around 46ish, is this ok??

Sounds fine. But note the 500/594 are the 2D speeds which you will always see when you have windows up. It ups to 620/720 as soon as you run a 3D game full screen, so the speeds you quoted are only a bit more than stock 3D.
