Hardcore facts, curiosity, and people willing to discuss this card here.

should really wait til tuesday like, then we can have some real scores and proof about its performance.

i tried to post this in the thread that has just been closed:

why dont people just wait til the x1900 is actually being tested.. and we have proper scores to look at....

its only 2 days away... then we can all discuss this with hardcore proof of true tests and scores on the x1900... then we can know for sure whether its a good buy or to wait again for the new nvidia card...for performance not for hardcore fans to argue
 
am not bothered about any more than 1280x1024... only got a 17" monitor so there is no real need for more.

that is why am really debating getting x1900, i could go for 1800 and an opteron.. or maybe dual core... im not going further than 1280x1024
 
true. i think x1800xt would be most sensible for me.

i just want to see the prices for the x1900 first though, so ill be ordering something tomorrow.

ive gotta send my current graphics card off through the post tomorrow so ill have to buy something to replace :)

lol.. just tried cod2... put everything max (besides res 1280x1024)

easy. no stuttering whatsoever. very happy. bit of trouble getting it in, its much larger than the x800.. cables in the way, but its there, in and doing the business
