X1900 XT or XT-X

When spending that much on a gfx card, i'd be inclined to spend the extra £25-30 on the XT-X for the extra speed... ;)

the XTX cards appear to be cherry picked & some sites have shown they are better overclockers than XT cards. So agree with above.

XTX if you can afford the extra

If you are spending that amount on a GFX card then you might as well go for the cream of the crop. The XTX's are known to overclock well too. Maybe they are 'cherry picked'.

With such a card, is there really any need to clock it further. Suppose it depends what you want it to do.

Theres rarely the need to overclock Kyo. But if we only got things because we needed them everyones cars would only do 70mph ;)

If you want a bigger e-penis score yes, but there is no point clocking them for gaming, as they will sling everything around maxed out at high frame-rates high resolutions anyway. :D

Well I've moved over from an X1900XT to a X1900XT-X cost me like £70 but my fault for picking the wrong card in the 1st place, nuts wasting money? Yes I know but well I'm happy thats the main thing! ;)
