Hi all,

I have a x1900gt atm which is still great, plays tf2 well and other games like DMC4, HL2 EP2. Im thinking of taking advantage of the offer on the 3850/70 as they are really well priced £50/60ish.

I only game at 1280 x 1024 or 1152 x 864.

Do you think this card will serve me well? because i would like to play a few games like crysis & GTA (when released) etc... ? or shall i just wait until 4850/70 prices come down a bit?

My mobo is an asrock 775XFire-eSATA2+ which has done me well so would prefer not to upgrade yet if possible.

Thanks :)

I got a 4850 a few weeks ago and it ran fine in my ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 (AGP/PCI-E board).

PCI EXPRESS Slots: 1 slot with PCIE x 16, 1 slot with PCIE x 1;
PCIE Specification 1.0a

Thats the specification on the ASRock i had, so it will work :)

Definately get the 4850, i came from a X1900XT and its a massive difference.
