X1900gt Bios mod

Ive read elsewhere that there may be a possibility if they had the x1900xt 256mb bios. i have been playing around with this bios and wondered if it would actually work. i have managed to modify the 512mb bios to be a 256mb bios, but am weary of trying it out.

it should work, unless you need to change the ID aswell.
 
IF the pipes are unlockable and are actually usable - ATI's GPU's for GT/GTO cards generally are speed binned versions of the XT based chips, which mean they may have a defective pipe.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to unlock my GT to 16 pipes / 48 PSP's but results so far are not encouraging.

I think the days of the X800 GTO2 are over :(
