Can fellow GT owners state their current clocks, driver version, card brand and any additional cooling used such as a Zalman with before and after benchmark results if possible so we can build up a little archive of how capable these cards are?

Post away! :)

Oddly my 3DMark06 score is less then yours at 4051.

Ahhh just realised its multi-threaded and I'm single core - cheats! :D

I'm currently going through my PC as I believe it could do with a fair amount of 'tweaking' in order to get better 3DMark results. The results above are the standard settings I game, such as having HQAF enabled under catalyst.

Was playing Dawn of War last night with 4xAA, Temporal AA, 16xAF and HQAF enabled. Looked fantastic :D

Still waiting for my local shop to get my VF900 in as well - I'm not clocking my card up till I get this installed, as it already hits 88-90C under full load when gaming.

Havent check temps on mine, but it does run hot, mabye guys could put temps in as part of reply, so that we can compare. I am considering going for the artic cooling option.

as posted above, runs hot with stock cooling so wont overclock yet. will run 05 tonight and post result. case runs pretty warm sometimes as well due to celeron overclock to 3.3ghz. 06 score was celly at 2.5.

I have posted up my temps, HIS is ultra cool!

I will make it my mission to beat 4105 in 06 with my celly this weekend. Hope its a really cold weekend and my garden blower still works. Then i can really overclock that graphics card.

My 05 result is more formidable, 06 takes advantage of dual cores and above so my Opteron is left behind somewhat. 05 is more appropriate for the current gaming client.

I've tried to overclock my HIS but the tool keeps reverting back to stock clocks so once I crack that I'll be able to smash the 10k mark with ease (XT speeds in effect).

Stock volts, 620/700!

Now for some voltage. :D

Excellant stuff. What proggy are you using to OC that card ? I've had mixed results with the various programs I've tried, I'm currently using RivaTuner to do most of the work. I think I might need a combination of CCC, RivaTuner (OC and Fan speed) and ATITool (Voltages) to do the job.

The good news on my part is that by increasing the fan speed, and remounting the stock HSF with AS5 I've managed to get a massive drop in temps to allow me to start overclocking.

So far I'm at 600/630, not a massive increase, but while I removed the HSF I checked out the memory modules on my card at Samsungs website and seen there rated good at 800mhz :D

Oddly ATITool wont let me go past 720MHz on the MEM slider no matter what I do, it just snaps back to 720... I'll try your suggest of volts with ATITool and clocks with Rivatuner.

Busting past the 10k mark shouldn't be a problem and thats well into XT territory (on my rig) so I'd be happy. :)

Runs cool too, HIS keeps it under 60'c even underload and overclocked.

I've just done a full re-install last night using all the latest drivers for my System but with Omega 6.7 drivers (no tray tools) so I'll give them a wizz today and see how it performs under these drivers.

Also, I'm really toying with the idea of getting another one of these and putting it into Crossfire.

I'll see if I can post some links to see of the potential performance benefits:

This ***** Review is good as it shows a single and pair of GT's in Xfire on the same testbed in the same review:

I have seen the Xfire thread, its got my pretty excited as my board can support Xfire, albeit at a limited 4x Speed slot on the second card.

Anyways, I've just rebuilt my system software, changed my overclocks a little upwards after playing with the heat dump of my W/c,and got the following results:

Previous Results:
PenD [email protected], 4-4-4-12 Mem timings, Cats 6.8 Driver

2001 - 25648
2003 - 15322
2005 - 8919
2006 - 4563

New Results:
PenD [email protected], 4-4-4-10 Mem timings, Omega 6.7 Driver

2001 - 27462
2003 - 15504
2005 - 8984
2006 - 4576

PCI-Ex 4x Test Results:
PenD [email protected], 4-4-4-10 MEm timings, Omega 6.7 Driver

2001 - 25502 - 7.14% loss
2003 - 13635 - 12.05% loss
2005 - 7738 - 13.87% loss
2006 - 4122 - 9.92% loss

These are interesting results because despite only having 1/3rd the bandwidth on the slot it seems a broad '10%' loss can be applied to the video cards output.

I think I might run through these tests again, but with an Overclock on the PCI-Ex bus (if I can get it stable) of 110Mhz, a 10% overclock.
