well i think of it like this.. if its going at the back of your pc i assume you have exhaust fans already... so why stick an intake next to it?
 
ah ok. if you ever decide to put the zalman cooler on the you would be better off with the exhaust method as the zalman simply dumps the hot air into the case instead of expelling it like the stock cooler.
 
i see what you mean. if i just keep shoving the cool air into the case then the zalman could just keep heating it up and the case fans at the top of the case may not be effective enough at getting rid of the heat.

sucktion in this case would seem to be the idea answer.

for the price of these, they are around 6 quid inc vat i will have to pick one up.
 
thats a good price.. considering that a typical decent 80mm case fan is usually around the 4 quid mark.

Exactly my point about the exhaust.. best to expell hot air rather than keep 'diluting' it with colder air

what sort of temps is your card running at and how much noise does it make?
 
ive got nv silencers on my graphics cards in my pcs.. all exhaust hot air out. Generally i like to have the back of the case chucking the air out and the front/side sucking air in.

The score is kinda close despite increasing by 25/50, this should be the case? or its my CPU causing the bottleneck?

Will a X2 3600/3800 or Any single core at >2.7ghz greatly improve my results

i did't think that 05 was bottlenecked by the cpu. i thought that only 06 is cpu dependant

I haven't uploaded as it wouldn't accept the omega drivers as drivers :(

However, once my Tuniq Tower 120 arrives and I get my C2D to 3.6ghz I will do a stock and overclocked screenie in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2006 :)
