I've bought a Sapphire X1900XT and it says it requires a minimum of 450W and 30A on the 12v.

I've got the Hiper HPU-4M580 which is 580W which has the following specs for the 12v rails.

+12V 1 --- 20A

+12V 2 --- 18A

Do you add these together to get the total 12v amperage? Is this enough?

Ta.

Yes, correct - that will power the X1900XT fine.

i just bought a X1900XT, and awaiting a replacement for my Hiper 580W, good thing i also bought another PSU to power that card, as i don't want to take another chance with the Hiper.
