hello

i got a his card in which developed fault just recently, it was bought from ocuk in 05-06 by my mate and now i,m or was the proud owner of it.

does the warrenty cover me as well as ocuk invoice has his details?

who do i rma this to?

thanks

The warranty is void as it's second-hand goods now. You could RMA it with your mate's details though if he agreed to it, which I'm sure he would.

As for who to send it to, send it to OcUK. They will send it to the appropriate manufacturer if need be.

Yeah its about 10 days i think to test, and providing they have those cards in stock, be a couple of days over that, so probably about 2x weeks as said above, but could be a lot less depending on how busy they are i spose. :)

If you bought your card under 28 days ago then expect a replacement within a week as OcUK will handle it themselves, but if you bought it over 28 days ago then expect to wait up to six weeks as it will go back to the manufacturer.

I'm currently waiting on a replacement X1800XT, but as I bought mine over 28 days ago it's gone to Sapphire and will probably take three more weeks for another to be sent back. Then again, the X1800XT hasn't been made since January, so chances are I will probably get an X1900GT back unless they have leftover X1800 in the warehouse.

Still hoping they'll send out an X1900XT but I am not counting on it. :p

how long has it been sinceu rma to ocuk?
I sent my graphics card back on the 31st of July, so it will be two weeks on Monday I think. Should only take one or two more weeks after that according to the people at OcUK, as it was sent right off to Sapphire the same day because it's truly buggered.

28 working days = 6 weeks :(

Just glad it's not a Gainward, as the RMA needs to go back to Germany!

Hope its not 6 weeks? I rather a realistic timescale from OCuk than a best case senario!!

Using a Sony Vaio 12" laptop after using my NEC 20WGx2 screen is a pain in the behind...!!

As said, 28 working days is about six weeks in RMA language. I just had to RMA an X1800XT two weeks ago and have been using an X300SE since on a 1440x900 panel, so you can imagine how I feel. :o
