X1900XT-X for £175?

In the local PC shop today and he had an unused Sapphire X1900XT-X for £175. He said a bloke bought it but bought an AGP motherboard so instead of buying a new motherboard he bought a new graphics card and was unable to return this. So it's three or so weeks old and hasn't been used.

Even more so, why send back the graphics card? Surely it would make more sense to buy a PCI-E motherboard...
