Gents , Regarding these cards .

I would appreciate info as to whether any 3rd party manufacturer offers superior warranty periods over their competitors .

Powercolor's is 2 year warrenty, and ATI last year changed its warrenty from 3years to 1year. Individual 3rd party manufacturer's will have their own specific length (like Powercolor).

Thanks for the info megatron I was reading a little while back that Powercolor ( I think it was )offer a Lifetime (Origional purchaser only) warranty however only in Canada and the USA

say you bought a graphics card.. 1month ago... and it dies.. how would you go about replacing it... would i get money back.. or a replacement sent??

keep reciept
contact place of purchase to rma card
usually the card is replaced with one of equal or better performance (if card still being made like X1900XT, then you get straight replacement) (if card not being made like the X800XT, you may get cash back, how much will vary, can be what card last sold for or a better replacement like say the X850XT)
