x1900xtx (Sapphire toxic) (yes, I know)
XP Pro, Latest Omegas

Hitachi CML-200UXWB, 1600x1200
Right. The problem is, I can't get the Hitachi working as a second monitor at all using DVI. The x1900xtx has two dvi outputs. The Hitachi will show a picture if I use a VGA cable with an adaptor into the second DVI port on the gfx card; but with pure DVI it refuses to display a picture. It just tells me it's got no source (ie, no signal). And I don't see the point of using VGA any more.
I thought at first it was cos I was using a single link DVI cable to connect to the Hitachi, but after buying a dual link it's made no difference.
Any ideas? I've tried ultramon, I've been through every setting I can find in XP and the Omega drivers, I've tried ATI Tray Tools... they all see the monitor fine with a DVI connection, but the bugger won't show anything. I've seen lots of other forum posts where people get minor issues with dual monitors on this card, but at least they get them to work.
