X1900XTX is this a Prob ?

I have a Sapphire X1900XTX but on all the system info or drivers ie ATI Control centre it says the Vid Card is the X1900 Family is this normal or should it say X1900XTX ?

it would be reported as "Radeon X1900 Series", which is normal.

x1900 getting reported as an x1900 series, not normal at all RMA time.

It always does that. I remember when I first got my PC and it said "Radeon 9700 Series" not "9700 Pro" I went ape.

My x1900xtx's show up as X1900 series (the master card shows as X1900 Crossfire Edition). Its normal.

My X800XT PE is reported as "Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition". Lucky me

Sorry to dig up such an old thread - the one thing that bothers me is that no matter which DVI port I use, every game i use states "x1900 Secondary" - am I missing something or are Mastercards primary?

I only have an Ultra-D so its not as if the card is in the wrong PCI-E slot either

Thats strange. I "think" that when i dont have crossfire enabled it doesnt matter which port i plug the monitor into it defaults it to the primary then puts second monitor to secondary. Cant test that at the moment but i have had my monitor plugged into different ports and can not remeber it being reported as secondary. AFAIK it wont make any difference as they work the same way and it is just the label for it.
