I've had an X1900XTX 512mb installed for a few days now and having got it all settled in, I'm gonna overclock it. As the serach function seems to be down can anyone give me some core and memory ballpark figures to start with? I don't wanna raise any voltages/mods etc, just good stable overclocks.
Cheers guys.

Anything between 10mhz on mem and core to 100mhz on both.

Suck it and see.

ATi Tray Tools.

My Guide is somewhere, but as the search is disabled I can't get at it. Im sure someone knows the link to it. :)

The x1900xt-x has built in overclocking in the Catalyst control panel ;)

If i remember right.it's called ATI overdrive or something like this and allows up to 690mhz core /800mhz memory...

Maybe so, but ATT is far better :)

If you tweak voltages, you can expect around 690-700 on the core on the stock cooler if you push it and don't mind the extra fan noise. The memory is kinda hard to tweak, cuz if you add more voltage you get lots more heat and the memory craps out, but you can expect to get 1600 on the mem without many memory voltage tweaks. Have fun! If you need help, I have a list of voltages written down in my notepad somewhere :)

i get 692 and 768 (1536) using CCC on my XT - so i should hope you get a bit more on your XTX. Thats just standard tweaks - no volt mods etc.

It was an early XT & it had 1.1ns mem chips, but it was'nt great on the memory clocks for some reason  Core clocks made up for it though :D

Maybe you could have slackened off the timings as the x1950xt's come with 1.1ns memory quite often and will easily run above 2000mhz ddr (1000mhz actual).
