Hey all,
I recently bought a large upgrade which involved the Gigabyte X1950 (was on offer). After playing a bit of WoW I started to get artifacts all over my character and on the edge of the screen. This was fixed by a tab out and in, but re-occured.
I checked Overdrive, and whenever the core hit 80C artifacts would occur.
I have 2x 90mm intake fans at the front of my praetorian, 1 90mm out at the top and one 90mm out at the rear. Also the side of the case is off atm. So I would really think that airflow isn't an issue.
Is the card running too hot with its quiet heatpipe technology
or could it be an issue with the drivers or the card itself?
Thanks,
Matt

, especially at £260. The thing is.. in 3DMark06 it all runs like a dream, no artifacts or such, yet it's getting stressed over the simplest graphics ever
.
