X1950 Pro 512mb resolution question....

I am in the process of linking my PC to my Sony KDL-40V3000 LCD TV with a DVI-HDMI cable (and an audio cable) but I'm a little unsure if my graphics card supports the TV's native 1920 x 1080 resolution???
I'm sure Ive had it at at least that on my PC monitor but cant remember the exact resolution it let me set it to!

Anyone have any experience of this??

Well this is mine: http://www.sapphiretech.com/ne/products/products_overview.php?gpid=168&grp=2 and it says 'Each display interface supports display resolutions beyond 2560x1600'
